An impressive 19th century Louis XV style French marble topped commode. Of fine construction with attractive king wood and tulip wood veneers onto a solid oak carcas. Of bombe form and fitted with bold brass mounts throughout. The drawer fronts and sides of the commode are inset with tulip wood veneer panels which are cross banded in walnut. There is an arrangement of 2 short over 2 long drawers , with the top drawers being lockable (key supplied). The whole commode finished with a varigated rouge marble top (removable). This bold and impressive commode is offered for sale in excellent condition, with a marvelous colour and patina, ready to go straight into the to home.
