A splendid loose powder compact. This highly collectible Stratton compact has never been used. All the original accessories are present. This 1960s Stratton 'Rondette' powder compact has lid decorated with very pretty Sweet peas. There isn't any loss of design or fading. The compact is superbly crafted and made to last. For example, all the brass is lacquered. This process ensures that the compact will never need to be cleaned nor will it tarnish. The original mirror sticker is in place. The mirror gives an excellent clear reflection. The hinges and catches work exactly as they should. The inner lid is signed 'Stratton'. The base is decorated with circular bands of stars and signed 'Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND'. Measures 7 cm diameter and weighs 79.3 grams.
