Lovely Liverpool porcelain tea bowl and saucer in the Liverbirds pattern, c.1770, most probably by the Philip Christians manufactory.

The bowl measures 8cm (3 1/8") wide and 4.5cm (1 3/4") high, and the saucer is 12.5cm (4 7/8") wide and 2.2cm (7/8") high.

Condition is very good with no damage or restoration: Some light surface wear and a few minor firing blemishes from kiln dust, mainly around the rim of the tea bowl. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
