Rare little Japanese carved wooden hall seat or settle as retailed by Liberty & Co c.1910. Useful small size, just 36" wide. Shaped and pierced boards densely carved all over (including on the rear) with a beautiful design of lotus or water lily plants. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
