A late 19th century French white marble and ormolu mantel clock by Le Roy & Fils, the elegantly proportioned white marble case enriched with finely modelled gilt bronze mounts, the circular white enamel dial with Roman numerals signed “Le Roy & Fils, 51 New Bond Street”, indicating retail by the firm’s prestigious London premises, fitted with an 8-day movement striking the hours and half-hours on a bell, and made in France.
