An attractive, Louis XV style waisted French mantel antique clock, having a rosewood case inlaid with floral boxwood marquetry decoration. It has brass mounts, an embossed bezel with a a bevel edge convex glass and an enamel dial. It has an 8 day movement that strikes the hours and halves on a gong and was made by A.D. Mougin of Paris, it is numbered 44944 and is stamped A & N which means the antique clock was retailed through The Army and Navy Stores.

Current Condition
The case is in excellent original condition, the brasswork is original and untouched retaining a lovely aged patina. The movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.

18.00cm wide 35.50cm high 10.50cm deep (7.09 inches wide 13.98 inches high 4.13 inches deep) We have been established since 1978, dealing in and restoring most antiques, specialising in clocks and furniture. We have our own workshops where we carry out specialist restoration work.-
