Large pair of French marquetry bedside tables
Good quality pair of French walnut and marquetry bedside antique tables of a good size, slightly larger than the usual examples. Circa 1920
Both in good condition with all marquetry and ormolu mounts and their original marble tops too.
Known as "bombe" due to their shaped sides and fronts, standing on elegant shaped legs finished with further mounts.
Useful size as lamp antique tables, but would need to sit against a wall as they are plain to the rear.
Good decorative pair and nice colouring too.
Measuring:
29’’ or 74cm high
19 1/4’’ or 49cm wide
12 1/2’’ or 31cm deep
