A fabulous quality set of eight antique Regency mahogany dining chairs. These chairs are much heavier than your standard model and use the best quality mahogany from the South Americas being dense and finely figured. The deep top rail is concave in shape and has carved acanthus detail. The seats are the more desirable stuff over type and have been completely re-webbed and covered in a good quality upholstery fabric. The whole raised on turned and carved front legs with sabre shaped rear legs. Measure 34"h x 18"w x 18"d. C.1835. Excellent condition.
