Circa 1860 with alterations. Mid-Victorian mahogany three-section open bookcase. Surmounted by an architectural cornice and a simple frieze in figured mahogany, the 3 bookcase sections each with 4 adjustable shelves are flanked and separated by simple upright pilasters and with an exposed panelled ash back. All sitting on an enclosed plinth base. Functional and attractive and in excellent condition.
