A superb French Louis XVI style marble topped commode. Of larger than average proportions and well constructed with attractive kingwood veneers onto a solid oak carcas. Of serpentine form and embellished with brass ormolu mounts throughout. There is an arrangement of 3 long drawers (all lockable with keys supplied) which afford generous storage capacity. The chest is fitted with a stunning varigated rogue marble top which is removable for ease of installation. Offered for sale in excellent condition, with a wonderful colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
