Large Art Deco Powder Compact c.1940
An attractive Art Deco compact in very good condition. The lid has a very attractive engine turned design of a clean cartouche surrounded by a fine spiral & further typically Art Deco borders. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror is good. The base is engraved with beautiful guilloche engraving. This powder mirror compact measures almost 4" & weighs 128.7 grams. The original sifter is in place and so this would make an ideal compact for loose powder / handbag mirror.
