Large 17th Century Oak Mule Chest Coffer
This is a lovely old piece, and is in remarkably good condition for its age, unusually it has two drawers at the bottom rather than one
The coffer has 3 panels on over the drawers these are decorated with substantial Geometric Mouldings, the lid is made in three planks with a moulded edge and there is an oak candle box inside with 2 secret drawers, and the sides of the chest are panelled
The hinges have been replaced, otherwise the coffer is in good condition for its years, there minor dings and a few use marks on the top but they blend in well
The coffer is 57” long, 22” deep and 30” high
