A good quality solid walnut French mantel antique clock. Well cast ormolu bronze case mounts and standing on adjustable feet. A front glass aperture with beaded edging. A well cast Louis XV pendulum with a cockerel to both ends. A convex enamel dial and front glass. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and half hours on a gong by Japay Freres. Circa 1890.
