A beautiful hallmarked solid silver handbag mirror which was originally made for use with loose face powder or as a handbag mirror. Crafted in the 1950s this gorgeous vanity is adorned with ornate engravings. The compact is hallmarked in multiple locations. The mirror bezel and powder well are also stamped '800' silver. The hinge and catches work perfectly. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The original sifter is included and so this compact can be used for loose face powder or as a handbag mirror. Measures 6.3 cm x 6 cm and weighs 52.4 grams.
