About as charming as they come and a rare find too!. it's been quite a few years since I have seen one of these. The base and mounts of this magnificent biscuit box are made from cast polished brass.

The four wonderful winged Cherub or Putti figures are beautifully executed with good detail. They support the original cut glass biscuit box, mounted with a decorative rim, and the lid having a floral finial.

Dating to the late Victorian era, around 1880. French in origin.

The base measures 10" x 10", the piece standing 10 1/2" tall.
