Gothic Revival Ash bedside cabinet c1860. Lovely light coloured Ash bedside cabinet with stylised stencilled and inlaid decoration typical of the Gothic Revival fashion of the mid to late 19th century popularised by the likes of Charles Bevan and J.P Seddon. This cabinet was made in Newcastle by the well renowned firm of Robson and Sons. Stencilled makers marks to the back. Measures 79 cm high (84 cm to back rail) x 39.5 cm wide x 38.5 cm deep.
