A stunning unused blue enamel Stratton Lipstick Empress loose foundation makeup compact. This gorgeous Stratton brand accessory was crafted by the premier British maker in the 1950s as part of their luxury range. The cobalt blue enamel lid is embellished with pink and white floral motifs with gilt accents. There isn't any loss of enamel or fading. The whole compact is in superb condition. All the original features are present - presentation box, thick black felt pouch, puff, sifter, mirror sticker and lipstick instruction leaflet. The compact is fitted with an automatic opening inner lid. Just tilt the mirror lid back to access the powder well. This device and all catches and hinges work perfectly. The base is decorated with the curled feathers design which is reserved for the luxury range of Stratton brand accessories. The presentation box is stamped with the item code 673/622. Measures 8.4 cm x 7 cm. Weighs 120.7 grams.
