An attractive Victorian freestanding and round cornered burr walnut pedestal desk. The top having a cross banded and moulded edge with a quality inset green leather writing surface which has blind and gold tooling. The 9 drawers all having burr walnut fronts with turned pulls and complete with working brass locks and keys. The freestanding back with conforming sides and the pedestals are raised on plinth bases with hidden casters below. The desk is in superb condition with wonderful choice of burr walnut timbers and the drawer linings are all solid mahogany. Dimensions:- Height…31''/ 79cm. Width…48''/ 122cm. Depth… 27''/ 68.5cm.
