Georgian Regency mahogany secretaire bookcase desk
Antique quality Georgian Regency mahogany secretaire bookcase C1800-1820 with built in desk / writing table.
This is a lovely quality item, that is full of age, charm and character. A very decorative piece that a tremendous amount of work went into. Amazing maple veneered interior with replacement leather skiver. We have a key to fit the glazed doors only.
Solid with no loose joints and all of the ash lined drawers slide freely. No woodworm.
Great age and patina. Splits into three parts for transport.
Overall maximum dimensions 125cmW x 54cmD (plus knobs) x 235cmH (82cmH writing surface). Adjustable shelves.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for (check ceiling height as well). The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
