Georgian Regency Longcase Hatton London
A fine quality London Regency period mahogany longcase clock. Slim, small proportions to the case. Choice flame mahogany veneers to the arched trunk door with moulded edging. An arched hood pediment surmounted by two original brass finials. Brass capped fluted hood columns and rear quarters. Fine fretwork panels to the hood side. A circular dial with date and seconds indicators. Blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours on a bell. A quality feature often seen on London antique clocks of brass cased weights and a flat rod brass pendulum.
