Impressive late 18th.c. English oak settle c.1790. Good backrest with five raised, shaped and fielded panels over shaped arms on turned supports and a webbed seat with loose seat cushion. Well shaped cabriole front legs ending in a neat pad foot. Excellent condition, the seat has been freshly recovered in a soft grey fabric. Particularly good colour and patina to the woodwork, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
