Georgian Oak Long-Case Grandfather 30 hour Clock

1 of 6
This antique grandfather clock dates from the early nineteenth century. It has an oak case, a lovely hand-painted calendar dial and a 30-hour movement. It retains its pendulum and weight, but has not been tested and is in need of servicing and some tlc.
Condition: Overall this attractive clock is sold as found, in need of some tlc. It has not been tested and the movement should be assumed to be in need of some restoration work. There is some scuffing, knocking and wear to the case as might be expected and some shrinkage splitting in places. The movement is loose to the base inside. There is some discolouration and wear to the dial. The clock looks to have had some restoration work over the years.
The approx measurements are as follows:
206cm high, 46cm wide, 23.5cm deep (to maximums). Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
We can arrange delivery of both smaller items and furniture - please contact us for details and a quote. Customers are also welcome to use their own couriers if preferred.
Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer, cheque [UK only], and cash on collection.
