Very handsome low waisted Georgian mahogany linen press c.1800. In two pieces with a tall two door cupboard top with five sliding shelves for clothes and linen etc. On a low base with two short and one long drawer with cockbeaded fronts retaining the original heavy brass swan neck handles. Restrained design with an ogee cornice and waist moulding, simple raised border to the door panels and tall shaped bracket feet front and rear. Solid mahogany door panels and sides, pine drawer linings. Excellent condition and lovely original colour. Restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
