Georgian Mahogany Bed Steps
A set of 19th century Georgian mahogany bed steps dating to circa 1810. With a hinged lid providing storage to the top, the middle step slides forwards opens to reveal the original white pottery chamber pot and turned mahogany cover. With green gilt tooled leather treads to each step and standing on turned tapering legs. Also useable as library steps if you don’t have a big climb into bed!
In good condition with replaced leathers, some veneer loss to front around sliding step and old loss to top moulding on the back right side.
