Georgia Period Linen Press
Here we have for sale today the most wonderful Georgian Period Linen Press, this is a good early one dating from about 1780 and all in original condition.
Made in mahogany and standing on bracket feet, with 3 graduating drawers fitted to the base section, drawers are cock-beaded and fitted with its original brass handles and key-hole escutcheons all working locks, complete with Georgian iron key.
The top section has a moulded corneas over 2 panelled doors with well figured mahogany veneers, with original key-hole escutcheons and working lock complete with Georgian iron key. The enclosed compartment has four sliding linen drawers.
Having its original polish plus patina, its been into the workshop for a clean and wax polish and looks stunning, with this wonderful period mahogany colour and polish (please see pictures)
This Linen Press is in excellent condition considering its age, ready to use and requires no restoration, solid in all its joints with NO breaks, and NO woodworm.

Collection FREE, delivery available England and Wales, with the large items and chair sets we usually deliver to central England & Wales for the asking price, for further afield please contact for costing’s, we deliver large items ourselves, with all items packed and wrapped to insure no damage, with years of experience, smaller items will be sent by carrier please contact for costing.
Payment details
Payment methods can be by Bank to Bank transfer, cash, cheque, credit or debit card. All moneys must be cleared before items are delivered or collected. We offer a UK, 7 day full money refund if items are not as described or do not suit your requirements (excluding logistics)
Shipping details
We have sold furniture to international customers, and have had their shippers collect from our workshop. We have also had items shipped abroad door to door all insurance covered, contact for quotes.

All items for sale have been restored if restoration is required, unless otherwise stated. Upholstered items will have been re-upholstered, however if the fabric choice is not to taste, we offer a re-upholstery service in customers own fabric, or from our wide range of Linwood and Jim Dickens Fabric ( samples available )
