French Tortoiseshell and Ormolu Mantel Clock
An impressive Louis XVth style waisted bracket antique clock, in a tortoiseshell veneered case. It has acanthus leaf ormolu decoration, a convex bevel edge glass and a white enamel dial. The 8 day pendulum movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong.
Current Condition
The case is in excellent condition and the tortoiseshell "glows", the ormolu retains is original gilding. The movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. if you would like a 360 video clip of this antique clock when striking please email us.

17.00cm wide 31.00cm high 11.00cm deep (6.69 inches wide 12.20 inches high 4.33 inches deep) We have been established since 1978, dealing in and restoring most antiques, specialising in clocks and furniture. We have our own workshops where we carry out specialist restoration work.-
