This is a good quality large French portico antique clock in marble with ormolu mounts, which dates from the mid 19th century. The marble is attractively veined in pink and grey and the clock has a pretty flower basket pendulum, (inadvertently put on upside down in these photographs here). The clock is a good size measuring 43 cms high and is 27 cms wide and is in excellent working order. This keeps good time and strikes the hour and half hour with a lovely tone on a bell.
