A high quality French Empire period lacquered flame mahogany commode in the Egyptian style with a grey Belgium fossil marble top above four draws a single small frieze draw above three full sized draws with working locks and key and oak liners (all running freely )flanked by flat columns on bases with capitols the crisply chiselled gilt bronze ormolu mounts all retaining there original mercury gilding and raised on ebonized lion paw feet
A highly decorative example of this style and period circa 1800/15 in very good condition
