A stunning French Walnut and Kingwood marble topped commode in the Louis XVI style. Very well made with attractive walnut and kingwood veneers onto a solid oak carcas. The varigated rouge marble top is eye-catching and is removable for ease of installation. There are 3 long drawers , all decorated with inlaid marquetry and parquetry detailing and fitted with their original gilt brass hardware. The drawers are lockable and the key is supplied. This stylish commode is offered for sale in excellent original condition, with a marvelous colour and patina. It is ready to go straight into the home.
