French Kingwood Serpentine Commode
Really super quality and very decorative French Louis XV style kingwood serpentine marble top commode or chest of drawers with all original brass mounts and three working locks with keys, circa 1890.
This decorative commode will look stunning wherever you place it, the rich colour tone of the inlaid kingwood and the brass contrasting make this a statement piece, although on a small scale.
Wonderful piece of French antique furniture and in great condition.
Measuring:
32 1/2 inches or 82.5 cm high
31 1/2 inches or 80 cm wide
20 inches or 51 cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
