An attractive Louis XV style kingwood and marquetry inlaid commode of Bombe form. The serpentine shaped and variegated marble top having a moulded edge. The 2 shaped drawers having quartered kingwood veneers with inset floral marquetry panels in exotic stained woods. The Bombe sides having conforming quartered kingwood veneers with ormolu mounts throughout, working lock with key. The whole raised on outswept legs with shaped aprons and sabots. Condition-excellent, re-polished to a high standard in our own workshops. Dimensions:- Height…34.5’’/ 88cm. Width…45’’/ 114.5cm. Depth…20.5’’/ 51.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
