A fine quality French boulle green tortoishell brass inlaid mantel antique clock. An impressive case with gilt mounts and inlaid front and sides and case back. A gilt dial with individual enamel numeral cartouches. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. Dial signed by retailer 'James and Walter Marshall, Edingurgh'. Circa 1890.
