French Carved Oak Chest Of Drawers
Good decorative French carved oak chest of drawers in the 18th century style, but this chest dates to around 1920.
Well carved to the front and has the serpentine bottom rail to the chest with its original handles too.
The chest of drawers is a 2 over 2 configuration, so gives good storage and all drawers run well.
The condition is good although there is some wear and age marks to the top which is not unusual, but I have reflected this in the asking price. The chest has been cleaned and beeswax polished, so it has a lovely finish.
Measuring:
35 1/2 inches or 90 cm high
47 1/2 inches or 121 cm wide
19 1/4 inches or 49 cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
