A very well presented French 4-glass mantle antique clock by the renowned maker Samuel Marti. The movement impressed with his stamp, of 8 day duration, striking the full hours and half hours on a blued steel gong, giving a very pleasant chime. This fine piece would have cost more than other Clocks of this type, as shown by the cost centre of the dial and a very heavy Bob pendulum.
