Charming little mid 19th.c. pin prick embroidery on card c.1850. Naive or folk art composition, quite probably the work of a child, of a white hart or stag standing amongst exotic foliage populated with various birds and animals. Silk threads sewn into a card or paper panel, some portions further worked with raised French knot stitching. Very good condition presented behind glass in a period moulded frame.
