This is a substantial Scottish style chest of drawers, circa 1830, of best quality standing on bun feet, and having 6 drawers. This excellent timber is a very rich flame Mahogany and the chest is unrestored having come straight from a large vicarage bedroom where it has lived for many years.

The chest would originally have had wooden knobs, but have been replaced at some stage with the brass handles shown in the photographs. The drawer linings are ash and the back has double panelled chamfered pine one piece backboards. It measures
