A superb quality Victorian walnut library / writing table from the renown workshop of T.Feetham of Hull, Yorkshire (see last photo). The top having a beautiful deep carved edge with cross banding and inset leather of the best quality with subtle gold and blind tooling. The burr walnut frieze with egg and dart style beading. The base having stylised lyre ends with inset turned finials and decorative carved scroll supports and strengthened with a well carved cross stretcher. The whole supported on cabriole legs with scroll toes and retaining the original brass and porcelain castors. Sizes - Height 31'' / 79cm. Width 54'' / 137cm. Depth 28'' / 71cm.
