A fine mid 19th Century polished brass carriage antique clock. It has a shaped top handle and a thick oval bevel edge glass. The engine turned gilt dial mask has an enamel dial and a subsidiary alarm dial. It is signed by the original retailers, A Golay Leresche & fils, Geneva, who were renowned Swiss watchmakers. It has an 8 day movement with its original lever platform, that has an alarm mechanism and strikes the hours and halves on a gong. It is stamped with the trademark for Drocourt who are regarded as one of the best carriage antique clock makers of the period. It is numbered 17822 on the movement and case.

Current Condition
