An unusual free standing Sheraton revival rosewood and inlaid ladies writing table from the workshops of Jas. Shoolbred of London. The cylinder shaped top opens to reveal a well fitted stationary compartment and the original green leather lined writing fall opens and is supported by the 2 drawers which have pierced brass handles. The whole stands on square tapering and harebell inlaid legs with brass casters and is joined with a shaped under tier with a pierced gallery to the back This attractive ladies desk is inlaid throughout subtle boxwood stringing. It retains it's original finish and brass fittings and benefits from working locks and keys. Fully cleaned and waxed. Dimensions:- Height…35.25''/ 89.5cm. Width…26.75''/ 68cm. Depth...18.5''/ 74cm.
