A superb quality inlaid burr walnut bureau plat, or writing table. Of fine construction with attractive burr walnut veneers onto a mahogany carcas. The serpentine shaped top is cross banded with tulip wood and fitted with a sumptuous brown leather writing surface. This table is fitted throughout with the finest quality, crisply cast, ormolu mounts. It has a single drawer to the front and is finished to the rear with a dummy drawer so it could be free standing within a room if desired. Offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
