A Fine George III period polished oak and fruitwood inlaid 8 Day longcase clock.c.1790. Brass engraved dial with seconds count and date aperture. Strikes on a bell to the hour. Made by highly regarded maker,William Onions of Broseley, Shropshire. Herringbone inlay to the moulded cornice hood. Repeated to the case door. Superb colour and patina. Small proportions for an 8 Day antique clock, stands 75"high. Full working order.
