A Fine late 19th Century bespoke walnut cabinet on stand from the London makers Stenhouse and Savage. The moulded cornice featuring egg and dart carving above the shallow double inverted breakfront frieze with satinwood inlay between ebony lines and centred ivorine dots. The stiles having wonderfully carved caryatids with all kinds of fruit and flowers and tied bouquets. The ebony and boxwood inlaid arched panelled doors having carved angels with acanthus detail, working lock with key and open to a shelved interior. The superb base having a panelled back with polished under tier supported on turned columns with superb spiral carved holy & berry and the whole raised on a moulded plinth with 6 turned feet.
