Fine 18th C English Pearlware Pottery Quintal Vase
An Antique English Pearlware Pottery Quintal Vase.
A beautiful example dating to around the late 18th century. The pale body with incised detailing around the mouth of each head (or 'feather-edged') and with an applied leaf design to the lower section set in low relief. Nicely painted in a particularly deep cobalt blue with a pattern of flowering boughs and v-formation birds in flight.
A very charming example.
Old collectors label to the base.
With some faults (please request additional photographs ahead of purchase) but very much typical of this period and type of ceramic ware, and still displaying remarkably well.
Worldwide postage and packing is included in the price. Email or call for any further information on this item. We give great attention to each and every item we select and offer for sale, priding ourselves on the accuracy of our descriptions and research.
