A Delightful Italian Apothecary jar labelled “SYR IPECAC” a syrup drunk to induce vomiting after digesting poison! Dated 1800 which we believe is correct. Minor chipping to the tin glaze. No cracks, breaks or restoration. A beautifully decorated jar for such an un-beautiful cause!
