Fabulous 8 Day Longcase Clock

This is a fine example of a Northern longcase clock being of the taller and wider style. The newly restored dial looks amazing and benefits from a subsidiary seconds dial and date dial too, both working and complimented by the original hands.
The warm flame mahogany case stands an impressive 7ft 8 inches tall and 25 1/2 inches wide with a lovely patina and is in excellent condition with the turned pillars to the hood framing the dial beautifully.
The eight day rack striking movement has benefitted from a complete restoration and new lines with the bell having a lovely mellow tone.
Little is known of this maker - Paul Greenwood, Halifax - but the clock dates from circa 1840 and delivery is available.
This clock has been heavily reduced in price to make way for new stock arrivals and comes with a one year guarantee.
Clockwise specialises in longcase and bracket clocks and with global clients from the world of business, film, sport, royalty and aristocracy - yet more than happy with traditional clients - Clockwise has an unrivalled reputation for excellence and superb service.
