For sale today we have this extremely rare Moon flask vase by Eliza Simmance for Doulton Lambeth. An unusual vase that features a portrait panel to one side with a Rembrant style cavalier against a textured gilt ground within a flower embellished frame. The reverse has a large and dramatic display of carved and gilded flowers, while the vase edges have further gilded foliate borders.

8" tall x 6 1/4" diameter. Stamped Doulton Lambeth Silicon mark, Dated 1885, Incised ES 194 with assistants as shown.
