Exceptional Enamel Repeating Carriage Clock
This is a most rare and beautiful repeating carriage antique clock of French manufacture dating circa 1880.
The enamel panels have a blue ground colour are are richly decorated with the sides having oval pictures of two young woman framed in a gilt bezel
The silvered dial has gothic numerals and an embossed centre.
The Anglaise Riche case has twisted corinthium capped columns on all four corners and is of complicated construction.
The 8 day duration movement strikes the hours and half hours on a coiled gong and has a push button repeat facility..

This is is 8 inches high with the handle raised. It is 4 1/4 wide. The depth is 3 1/2 inches.
The overall condition is excellent with the movement currently being professionally serviced prior to despatch .It will delight the most discerning client.
