Ernst Wahliss Turn Wien Art Nouveau Porcelain Vase
For your consideration this late 19th century Austrian Bohemian Turn Wein figural centre piece of lilies and swans in relief by Ernst Wahliss. The centre piece is a beautiful and rare example of Austrian porcelain in the Art Nouveau period. It has a large centre basket with large scalloped and open work edges in the forms of lilies. On each side is a figure of a in a supporting position. The centre piece has a variety of glazes accenting each area and the detailing is truly exquisite.
It has an impressed mark 2 over 4562 and a printed mark EW TURN WEIN MADE IN AUSTRIA.
Dimensions: Length - 34 cm/Height - 16 cm/Depth - 13.2 cm
Condition: Excellent, the colours are still good which is rare for the age. No chips, cracks or repairs. Please see the attached photographs which form part of the condition report.
