A very rare and original 1938 Boat Race bowl by Eric Ravilious for Wedgwood. This huge iconic piece in full colour is 12 inches dia and 5 inches high and regarded as his finest work for Wedgwood. The 4 outer images depict scenes from the River Thames on Boat race Day and the centre image is of night time Piccadilly Circus in the 1930's. The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or crazing. Please ask for further details or photos if required.
