Pair of Wedgwood jasperware candlesticks
A fine pair of Wedgwood jasperware candlesticks. The pair are of simple tapered form and decorated with figures representing Apollo and the Muses. The base colour is a powder blue on which the classical appliques in white show beautifully. This is jasperware it its finest and the pair are both in excellent condition. The candlesticks have the Wedgwood impressed mark and a somewhat obscured date letter. C.1890.
